Karen has spent the last 20 years serving and leading a variety of human resources and talent disciplines, in multiple industries – including retail distribution, healthcare and manufacturing.  Throughout her career she continued to leverage her strengths in, strategic planning and business partnerships, employee relations and policy development, performance management, training and leadership development design and delivery and even culture and employee experience initiatives.  She’s currently the Plant HR Leader for Glad Manufacturing, Inc., a Clorox Company, located in Amherst, VA.  

The information you consume sets the tone for your day – your attitude and your mindset!  I love to laugh, so I’m currently listening to Smartless (Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Sean Hayes) interview and learn from all sorts of interesting guests!  When I need some inspiration, I’ll explore impactful and timeless speeches in American history – It Was Said (John Meachum).  Professional Growth audio books this year have included Outliers (Malcom Gladwell) and Tools of the Titans (Tim Ferriss).
